Jackets or overcoat is the current trend in Indian fashion industry. There are small jackets in ikkat and kalamkari material which you can pair with any kurti. Last visit to Cochin Lulu Mall and there were several of those in Lulu Fashion Store.

It is a flair over coat with a high neck collar. Good if you have a long neck and want to look taller.

This is the same type but loved the beads on the ends.
The collar is closed at the neck making the jacket fall freely from there.
The flair style is slightly different as it curves inward at the bottom part and the coat stays a few inches above the dress.
The jacket is exquisitely flaired and the color is the main attraction.
