Shibori Saree - What is it?

The word Shibori might seem to have originated from Eastern India, as the way it sounds, but this form of fabric dyeing takes its roots from Japan. Initially, Shibori dyeing was done only on cotton fabric with indigo dye. But now you can find all kinds of Shibori dyed fabric from georgette to crepe.

Shibori dyed fabric is always in trend. You can mix the color combinations in your imagination and create beautifully dyed fabrics. Some people even do this type of tie- and dye clothes at home. You just have to find the right and good quality color dye and colorfast fabric.

We at Crystelle, help you create your combination shibori dye sare. bring us the color codes you want to be dyed and we will dye the exact color on pure georgette. We will also help you with designing the costume out of the dress. We have a  wide collection of designer lace borders starting from just Rs 9 to Rs 400 to meet your needs. You can even have exquisite hand embroidery done on your blouse at price starting at Rs 500 onwards.

Have a look at this beautiful shibori dyed light and dark green saree in pure georgette. We have maintained the elegance factor by dyeing the silk in silk in the darker shade of the two saree colors.

The blouse has intricate bead work done in ceramic beads in a branch and leaf pattern. Gone are the days of big heavy hand work. People prefer simple and elegant hand work in small elements like sugar beads and tube beads.
For this specific costume, We have hand worked on 2 sleeves and the front neckline. We provide the blouse fabric as unstitched. The advantage is that you can stitch this as a blouse or use as a yoke for your shibori dyed flair Anarkali or gown.

Quick Woven Flower Hand Embroidery Ideas

That's how a woven wheel flower is done. It is one of the easiest embroidery stitches which can give simple yet beautiful flowers.

With a good method, we can get a rosette like in the above image, going over and under the spikes.
Below is an easy tutorial for the same.

The trick is to keep it loose without tightening the thread too much. When you tighten the thread, you won't get the rosette shape.
Here are some splendid Woven wheel flower embroidery design ideas for your dresses

Sew in some Woven wheel or spider wheel flowers in contrast color to the neckline or the sleeve. Fill the space with french knots or beads .

Single laizy Daisy stitches can add the elegance factor to your bouquet style flower embroidery. This can be used ont he chest portion of your baby  girls frock or even t shirt.

Woven stitch looks even more beautiful with thin ribbons.

Handworked Blouses in Easy Budget

When it comes to handwork the prices are sky rocketing and reachable only for some people of the society. We at Crystelle Boutiq believe in making it all affordable for everyone. All people have the right to dress classy and elegantly. You just have to make the right choice based on your budget, and we help with settling down in a design that fits into your budget.

Let us have a look of some of the blouse embroidery patterns and how we can cut down on the cost.

Mirror work is the best option when you are working with a plain saree. Mirror lace borders can be done on sarees from Rs 400 onwards including the border attaching cost. Then when it comes to the blouse there are several options
* Mirrors with golden zari closure as in pic. This is the costliest kind as it is done manually using aari work.
* Then another options is to stick the mirrors and adding beads round the mirror. The cost is dependant on the size of the bead. Bigger beads will cost less and smaller beads more.
* The cheapest option is to use readily available mirror frames which are available in all colors.

When you are working on a blouse, the best way is to work on the back of the blouse and the sleeve. Nowadays, handwork is also done on the shoulder side which is seen. This can help reduce cost.

For those who wear a hijab with the saree, better confine the handwork to heavy sleeves as you do not want to spend a handsome amount on handwork and close it off.

Mirrors are available in all different shapes and sizes : square, round, oval, rectangle, teardrop etc.
When you are working with misshaped mirrors like for example, the teardrop shape, you will not be able to close off the sides properly. The best method is to stick it well and then finish the sides with simple chain stitch zardosi or beads,

In love with brown bead worked salwar

We have always loved brown. Especially the coffee brown color and The combination with peach probably was rather confusing, but the end product was simply wow.
For this, we did the handwork in a branch pattern with light peach sugar beads for the branches and ended the branches with copper beads. To add some element of bling to the dress, we went for subtle orange sequin with the dark red sugar beads in the centre giving the dress a new and small element of color to the dress. The branches were given from both ends.
